In honor of the National Day of Prayer

Dear Father,
Please allow Your nature to flow through all of us. We are in need of your love and mercy. I ask that you allow us to be more God-seeking than self-seeking so that others want to join your Kingdom. Please help us use our gifts and abilities to introduce your loving kindness to those who are living in silent desperation. Please help us to tune in to all those souls around us who need you! We need you every hour and every minute of our existence on Earth. We love you Holy Father! Everything we ask is in the name of Jesus who gave His life for us.

Sweet Sixteen

  Today is my spiritual birthday – the date that changed my entire life.  It’s the before and after life changing date when my eyes were  opened to the divineness of God. I’ve been on an exhilarating and sometimes uncomfortable journey  full of experiences I never imagined I could or want to handle. But the best part of my journey is how God expanded my closed “religious”  mind and views. The knowledge I have is but a drop in the cosmic (heavenly) bucket; and I’ve learned that I’m in no position to impose my views on  people of different faiths or no faiths. There’s room at the table for all of us. We are all welcome and loved! There’s always room at the table. The best 10 years of my life Acts 20:24 (The Voice) …The only value I place on my life is that I may finish my race, that I may fulfill the ministry that Jesus our King has given me, that I may gladly tell the good news of God’s grace. I’m sure May 2, 2006, the day God’s presence become real for me and my life changed, will be pale in comparison to heaven. Since God awakened me, I’ve lived in constant awareness that life on Earth isn’t “it.” This is not my final destination and the thought excites me. What will happen when I see His face?
