Romans
12:1-2 (Msg)
So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

This note is simply meant to get all of us to think about our daily priorities. Are we focused on God and on what He wants us to do? I believe that our lives would radically change if we asked God what we can do for Him before we talk to Him about what we need.
Questions to think about:
· What if we decided to sit still and listen to
the voice of God?
· What would happen if we brought our prayers
for others to God before we prayed for ourselves?
· What would happen if we put ourselves in God’s
will each day before we arrive at work, at school, at a doctor appointment, at
the grocery store or wherever our day leads us?
Are you allowing the distractions of daily living get in the way of what He wants you to accomplish? I know that I do. Why - even my Divine Notes ministry has been pushed back lately because I get too busy to sit down and write what He puts in my heart!
This is a wake-up call for me!
How about you?
